They explode / burst due to the heat and high turbo boost levels of your 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel engine. The upgraded design increases reliability, durability and performance. Constructed of mandrel-bent aluminum with a polished finish. The 100% CNC-machined 6061 aluminum coupling allows you to retain your trucks factory emissions equipment and allows for quick installation. The upgraded cold-side pipe also eliminates restrictive bends in the factory pipe. This allows improved airflow, power, and lower EGTs. The upgrade kit includes new Constant-Tension T-bolt Clamps for consistent holding power.
