Coca Cola 1950’s Large Metal Picnic Cooler Only 1 small dent on one of the corners. Nice clean inside and bottom. This cooler measures 19″x18″x13-1/2 and is very heavy. See pic for condition. This old Coca Cola cooler comes as photographed. It is unrestored, and does not look to have been used extensively. Drain plug in the front below the embossed lettering, bottle opener on the side attached to the same bracket that holds the handle. Solid steel, I honestly cant see a speck of rust on this box anywhere including the tray. Please note that the lid is dented inward as shown in the pics, but it is not broken and could easily be pulled back into shape. A perfect candidate for a quick restoration as it will require minimum work, or display it as it is with its honestly earned scratches and scars. Made by Acton Mfg. In the 50’s, I believe. – ARKANSAS CITY, KANSAS – MADE IN U. This classic deluxe picnic cooler has a locking top carrying handle, stainless steel tray for food storage attached by slots to the underside of the lid, galvanized lining, insulated walls, bottle opener, and drain plug. This old ice chest is all original, approx. 60 years old, it is still fully functional, and overall in near excellent condition. There is no rust, it is missing some little specks of the original red paint from light use and storage, there are a few minor shallow dings, and it is very clean and ready for use if desired.
