PEPSI COLA BLUE METAL PICNIC COOLER 1953 IN BOX EXC COND W/SANDWICH BOX. Here is a tough Pepsi cooler to get in this condition especially with an ultra rare original box made by Progress Refrigerator Co 1953. As you can see the color is spectacular for this 67 year old galvanized cooler. There is some light wear and a few minor nicks in the paint. A small crease in the top corner and a very light surface crease on the front. It has the water spout with chain, the chain is not connected to the spout. Has the side bottle opener, handle, revolving locking handle, edge protectors all in near mint condition. Has the galvanized sandwich box with lid. This is large and heavy 19″ W x 12.5″ D x 19 Tall. The original box has some light wear, has all the end flaps as well as all the edge guards with some of the insulation still there. I have had this for 25 years, both cooler and box have been protected in plastic in a non smoker’s home all that time. Coca Cola Coolers are easy to find Pepsi made far less.
