Vintage 1950’s Royal Crown Cola Metal Cooler. This cooler is used and shows ding, dents & Scratches. The Drain Plug works Greats and the cap chain is loose. The Handle is attached well. T he Lid shows signs of use and has scratches dings and a significant dents. Insert Tray is included and in real good shape some minor surface rust on interior of tray. Inside of cooler looks really good with NO rust or holes. Outside Bottom Has Signs of use light surface rust with NO holes. Red & Yellow coloring is still very bright. Side of cooler has original Bottle opener. Cooler Dimensions are 17 1/2″ L x 13″ W x 18 1/2″ T w/Lid & Handle, 16 1/2″ without Handle. Embossed Lettering on both sides “DRINK ROYAL CROWN COLA BEST BY TASTE-TEST” & REG. Embossed lettering over drain spout PROGRESS REFRIGERATOR CO. A wonderful addition to any collection. This is an original 1950’s “Drink Coca Cola in Bottles” red metal ice chest/cooler in very good condition. The logo “Drink Coca Cola in Bottles” is embossed in white letters on the front and the back of the ice chest/cooler. It has a galvanized metal non rust insulated lining. It has a metal drain plug and a metal opener on the sides of the ice chest/cooler. The lid fits flush and the metal handle rotates to lock it in place. There are also side handles. The red finish still has a very good appearance. The inside of the ice chest/cooler is in very good condition. Given the age of the ice chest/cooler the overall condition is very good. Please see the pictures. Measures 18″ wide x 13″ deep x 16 tall excluding handle(s). PEPSI COLA BLUE METAL PICNIC COOLER 1953 IN BOX EXC COND W/SANDWICH BOX. Here is a tough Pepsi cooler to get in this condition especially with an ultra rare original box made by Progress Refrigerator Co 1953. As you can see the color is spectacular for this 66 year old galvanized cooler. There is some light wear and a few minor nicks in the paint. A small crease in the top corner and a very light surface crease on the front. It has the water spout with chain, the chain is not connected to the spout. Has the side bottle opener, handle, revolving locking handle, edge protectors all in near mint condition. Has the galvanized sandwich box with lid. This is large and heavy 19″ W x 12.5″ D x 19 Tall. The original box has some light wear, has all the end flaps as well as all the edge guards with some of the insulation still there. I have had this for 25 years, both cooler and box have been protected in plastic in a non smoker’s home all that time. Coca Cola Coolers are easy to find Pepsi made far less.
