This listing is for a vintage 1940’s Coca Cola Picnic Cooler- Original Unrestored Condition. Dimensions approximately:12″ long x 8″ wide x 12. Cooler has wear for its age, miscellaneous chips in the paint and dents in the body. Overall it is in nice unrestored condition. The graphics are very readable on both sides. Vintage Rare 1950’s Progress Refrigerator 7up Advertising Cooler Metal

Up for sale is a 7 UP Cooler. Manufactured by Progress Refrigerator Company, Louisville, Ky. I was only able to locate two similar coolers on the internet and they were listed as “A4″ coolers. Dimensions are 13″ high (not including the lid); 19″ across and 9 wide. There is not an inner tray. Dings, scratches, paint loss and some surface rust. Please look carefully at all my pictures because they are my best description of the item. I found the following information about Progress Refrigeration on the internet. Progress was one of the largest mid-century cooler producers, whose designs were made from steel with a galvanized liner to prevent rusting. Some even included a sandwich tray in the interior compartment to keep chilled food from getting wet. The companys standard A1 model was made throughout the 1950s, with reinforced chrome corners and a handle mounted on the lid for easy removal. The A1 fit neatly on top of a unit housing empty bottles, similar to the Glascock Bros. Design, but could be easily removed for transporting or refilling. Progress advertised its portable coolers straight to drink manufacturers, with ads highlighting trends in outdoor recreation and car-based travel. Cars on the highway have hit an all-time high! Hunting and fishing license sales have broken all records! Outdoor livingbar-b-qspicnicsare at the peak of popularity! These trends have created a vast, new market for soft drinks! Vintage RED COLEMAN COOLER Metal 2 Bottle Opener Handles 22 1/2 Long 1973

This vintage metal Coleman Cooler is date stamped 6/73. It has a metal recessed handles on each side and both have built in bottle openers. Metal and chrome, some dings and scratches in metal. There is a metal latch and two metal hinges. The bottom of the red metal cooler is a plastic trim piece that is textured. There is a plastic drain with cap that is working. The interior of the cooler is plastic and is white in color, some discoloration of white inside and out. There is a plastic shelf/tray that fits inside. Exterior measurements of the cooler are approximately 22 1/2″ long x 13 3/4″ wide x 15 deep. This cooler has SOME SCRATCHES AND DENTS ON THE TOP AND SIDES THE INSIDE SHOWS USE. Vintage Large COLEMAN STEEL BELTED 80 Metal Cooler Outdoor Camping Tailgating. Info: This is an absurdly clean and sleek Coleman Ice Chest Cooler! Its bright and shiny colors inside and out lets you know it has been well cared for. It even has its original box! Box states this is a “COLOSSAL BUTTERNUT” with “Polyurethane Insulation” 80 QUART, SNOW-LITE, Model 5256-709. Comes with its original 3 inserts that fit snugly with the interior grooves to keep them from moving around. Bottle openers at each end under the handles, standard closure and drain at one end. Very hard to find one so fine as this! It will be some time before another one as grand and fantastic as this one will come around again. So – Don’t miss out! Box with cooler measures 29 x 17 x 16.5 inches and weighs in at about 24 pounds before packing. There is a dime size hole in bottom (photo #7) there are also 3 very small dents on right edge of lid (Last Photo) and on the back left corner there is a very slight scuff and its hinge has a very slight pucker. The front shows one very small mar and a very light crease dent about midway. These can be seen in photo #3. These are all very minor condition issues when compared to the unit as a whole. Interior, Inserts, Handles, Closure, Drain and Openers are all in EXCELLENT condition! LOCAL PICK-UP IS ALWAYS WELCOMED FOR FREE! Up for your consideration I have a vintage WHEELING galvanized metal double wash tub and stand! It has all four original wheels(please see close up picture of wheels). One tub has both original stickers and the other only has half of one. As found, love the patina on this! Please see all the pictures for the best description! So many different uses for this vintage piece! Total height is 33 inches. The tubs are 20″ x 20″. Comes with both green hoses, perfect if using this as a beverage cooler!
