VINTAGE COLEMAN SNOW LITE COOLER MODEL 5255 13 1/2 GALLON RED WHITE IN BOX. No signs of rust or corrosion. See photos for cosmetic details. Snow-Lite liner can’t leak, rust, or corrode. Rugged steel construction that won’t crush, crack, or crumble. Cam-action latch seals freshness in, seals heat out and can’t lock accidentally. Large opening drain empties water fast… Polyurethane insulation is finest for holding cold. Recessed, chrome plated handles for easy carrying. Vintage 1960s Red Metal COLEMAN Snow Lite Camping Cooler Ice Chest, Jug 5255-703. Offering a vintage 1960’s red & white Coleman cooler & matching water jug. The cooler & jug are both metal & plastic. The cooler measures approx. 23″ long X 16″ tall X 14 wide. The inside dimensions are approx. 20 1/2″ X 11 1/2″ X 13 1/2 deep. The jug measures approx. 11 1/2″ tall X 10″ in diameter. Both come in good gently used condition with papers & plastic tray in the original box. Both the cooler & jug have some mild surface scratches & minor dimples to the metal but no major problems such as cracks or damage to the plastic. Drain plugs seal & do not leak water. The bottom of the cardboard box is a little rough. Overall this is a very clean set with little usage wear. Pictures can be enlarged and will show the condition well. Here we have a used (very little) vintage Coleman Snow Lite ice chest cooler in beautiful condition. I’m not sure what year it was made. But I did take a picture of the bottom if that gives a clue. This is near flawless, but there are a few imperfections. First the lid does not sit quite flush unless it’s secured with the carrying handle. The second is a small chip in the paint. Which is shown in the second to last photo. Lastly while the chrome areas are very nice. There is some minor pitting, but again minor. The chip is barely noticeable unless you are really looking for it. There are no dents, scratches or defects other than mentioned. Also, unless you really want the box I’m not going to include it. I only took a photo of it to show how it originally came. You would have a difficult time finding a nicer cooler unless it was new! Thanks for looking and check out my other listings.
