MUST SEE Vintage Coleman Metal Cooler Green Diamond Pattern Ice Chest

This hard to find Coleman Diamond Logo and Diamond Pattern Cooler/Ice Chest is a vintage beauty! Both handles include bottle openers and the metal exterior is green with a white plastic trim piece on top of the cooler, beneath the lid. The interior is a cream color plastic liner with a cool diamond pattern on the underside of the lid. The hinges, clasp and handles are all in great working condition! As is the plastic drain cover! 18″ long x 13.5″ tall x 10.5 deep. Condition: Very Good – This cooler has obviously had lots of use as seen from the photos. There are typical scratches and scuffs to the exterior and interior of the cooler. The bottom does show some rust (SEE PICTURES). The interior has a few cracks in the plastic liner with one large one on the rim of the lid (SEE PICTURES). The Coleman logo on the exterior has worn away and only reads: “COLEM”. This cooler has super vibrant color and graphics. It was obviously hardly used and very well cared for. It has the inner tray and the interior is very clean. The ORIGINAL paint is in great shape and the bottom is rust free and super clean. The cooler has no dents. It is 19″ tall by 18″ long and 12 wide. It has the bottle opener on the side. Or place it on a special shelf for everybody to admire in your man cave. The gasket is in good shape. The inside galvanized pan is in great shape. I answered a few questions about this item: The date of manufacture is unknown. Best guess by the owner is1959 or earlier. The bottom has some scuffing and such, as you would expect. It may have last been used in the’70’s. I don’t know if the drain works. I don’t want to get it wet to test it. Hope this all helps.
