Vintage 1970 Cherry Red Metal Coleman Ice Chest Cooler Superb Condition. Perfect for car shows since it dates to the muscle car era! This Cherry Red Coleman metal cooler measures 18-1/2 long by 11 deep by 12-1/4 high and was manufactured in February of 1970. This is by far the best example I have seen that has not been restored. The Cherry Red paint is vibrant, the white plastic is white and the chrome parts look new. The dual chrome bottle openers do not look like they have ever been used as does the rest of the cooler. The plastic tray was still wrapped in the brown paper it came from the factory with. There are a few minor nicks (See hinge image) which would not be noticeable if the cooler was not in such excellent condition. It is in exception condition considering it is nearly 47 years old! The color, the smaller size and exceptional condition places this one in the rare category. Remember, it dates to the peak of the muscle car era and is a rarer smaller sized and color making it very desirable at car shows. It will be bubble wrapped for maximum protection.
