Vintage SQUIRT metal cooler w/ tray – locking lid – embossed graphics – Please check out the photos, the item in the photos will be the exact item you receive. This cooler measures approximately 19″ x 19″ x 13. The interior dimensions are approximately 15.75″ x 14.5″ x 11. This cooler is not one you see everyday, and definitely not in this good of condition. I believe this cooler dates back to the 1950’s, and somehow has managed to stay in very good shape. It even still has the tray that come with the cooler (most times these are long gone). As you can see in the pictures, that someone has bent one end of the tray a little. The lid locks into place using the handle, and works as it should. It is marked Progress Refrigerator Co. Also, has the built in bottle opener on the side. This thing is solid, and very sturdy. Rare and fantastic vintage ice chest by Cronco. Super clean, inside and out. With no deep gouges or dents. This also comes with the original aluminum shelf. Two steel side handles are bolted on for easy carrying. Easy drain plug on the side, with the original plastic cap/plug still attached. The blue padded seat/cover on top is PERFECT–no stains or rips on it at all. The pictures don’t do this justice, it looks way better in person. The swordfish sticker is peeling up on the corners. I left it up to you, if you want to glue it back down, or take it off. The cooler would look great without the sticker too. Perfect for a day at the beach, a camping or fishing trip, or just hanging out by a bonfire. True vintage, made in the USA–superior quality and a great retro look–so COOL.
