IT IS RARE TO FIND THE GREEN ONE’S. YOU MOSTLY FIND THE RED ONES. THE COOLER OVERALL CONDITION IS GOOD. DOES HAVE A COUPLE SURFACE RUST SPOTS ON THE LID AS SEEN IN PHOTOS AND A 3 INCH DENT AS SEEN IN PHOTO. DOES HAVE SOME SCRATCHES. INTERIOR OF CHEST IS GALVANIZED AND IN GOOD CONDITION. THE BOTTOM HAS A SMALL SPOT OF SURFACE RUST, BUT OVERALL CHEST IS A PRETTY NICE ONE. HAS ORIGINAL SCREW PLUG. This listing is for a RARE old vintage metal Pleasure Chest ice chest/cooler. This cooler came out of a local estate and is in good condition for its age. This is in the RARE two tone green color with white lettering instead of the more common red. It looks like the old Sprite colors. It has a galvanized liner. There is normal age/usage wear to the paint including scuffs and scratches. The lid has a couple of superficial dents which can probably be popped out with a suction cup. Even the original drain plug and plastic clip is still there. There are a couple of very small rust through spots at the very bottom panel. These are not through to the liner, only on the bottom panel. They can be easily patched or filled, if desired. The rubber lid gasket is also in good condition. There is a side bottle cap opener. It has an aluminum handle and steel rod to hold it down. It measures 16 1/2″ wide (with hold down rod), 12″ deep, and 16 high. Overall, a nice vintage accessory for your antique or classic car/automobile. Please c heck out my other auctions.
