Vintage 1960’s FALSTAFF Metal Beer Cooler Medium Size – Very Rare HTF. Vintage 1960’s FALSTAFF Beer Cooler. SIZE: 14.5 “Tall X 11.5″ Wide. The cooler is in nice shape for its age. Great graphics especially the lid. You could still use this today! The cooler is all metal except the handle which I think is hard plastic. It is still bright and glossy and the cover still fits snugly. It does have some scratching and a few dings. The only real issue is a small 2″x1″ rust spot on the bottom of the back of cooler. Nice little Coke 6 pack cooler. Has some minor paint loss, small scratches and dings, but very good compared to most 6 packs you see on the market. I have not cleaned it since purchasing. Hi, thanks for looking. This is a very rare, life size sculpture of a penguin that functions as a wine / liquor cooler or covered champagne bucket holder. This is a slightly vintage piece handmade in Italy by Franco Lapini. Franco is world famous for his high end luxury goods and one can visit his website by doing a search under his full name. This cooler has a hinged neck and the head flips back to allow for access to a opening where one can put in a full size bottle of your favorite beverage. This can also be used as an ice bucket as there is a plastic liner on the inside of this container. This is in very good condition, as a vintage piece there is a little wear which is normal and to be expected. The head flips back easily and there is a small gap, where the neck connects to the body and it is shown in the photo. If something heavy was to be put inside the head area that might close the gap but it has never bothered us. This is a VERY FUN and cute display piece as well and from a pet and smoke free home. Lapini does make one of kind pieces and special order pieces. He also retires designs as well. So this is Rare and perhaps a ONE of a KIND, but certainly if others of these exist, they do not come on the market very often, if ever. Good enough condition it would make a great restoration project or display it just as it is. I think this is a smaller size, measurements (not including the handles) are about 12 inches tall by 12 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches deep. The photos show all four sides, the inside and bottom. On both sides it says DRINK DR. PEPPER GOOD FOR LIFE. A few minor dents on the sides, surface rust in places. Inside is getting rusty at the bottom. When you look at the bottom there is quite a bit of rust and the lips around the edges are bent. I don’t know if the rust is enough that this will leak. I think this is in pretty decent condition for the age. The photos are the best way for you to judge the condition for yourself.
