This is a Coleman Icebox Model #5217A 704. He 5217 cooler was available from 1960 to 1965 (white door) and the 5217A with the green door was available from 1962 – 1964 according. Hi here is a rare new old stock vintage snow lite coleman cooler. It dont get any better than this the coleman cooler was never used still has the original sticker on the lid and instrucions for use and the original box if you are a collector of vintage coleman items this is for you. The condition is near perfect protected for many years from the box the only ware i noticed is a few very minor scratches and in the last picture on the one side is some black material i believe it may be from the making i didnt try to clean it off. The color is a beautiful deep aqua and there is two bottle openers under each handle and a removable tray and a drain plug the size is 22 inches long 13 inches high and 16 inches wide model #5215B. NOTE the bottom of the cooler reads 2 – 62 made by the coleman co inc wichita kans usa. Vintage 1970s Coleman Cooler Ice Chest, Blue Green Metal, Snow Lite, 56 Qt. Markings : Made by the Coleman Co. Wichita, Kans, USA (see pics) Dimensions : Approx. 22″ x 12″ Condition. A few rust spots on top and inside handle surrounds. Lock works, drain and inside of cooler look clean. No holes; 1 crack on inner top lid – a few scratches on body and one small dent by lock, essentially age related wear; (no ice tray). Beautiful color, great size, a functional mid century piece! Vintage 1960s Red Metal COLEMAN Snow Lite Camping Cooler Ice Chest, Jug 5255-703. Offering a vintage 1960’s red & white Coleman cooler & matching water jug. The cooler & jug are both metal & plastic. The cooler measures approx. 23″ long X 16″ tall X 14 wide. The inside dimensions are approx. 20 1/2″ X 11 1/2″ X 13 1/2 deep. The jug measures approx. 11 1/2″ tall X 10″ in diameter. Both come in good gently used condition with papers & plastic tray in the original box. Both the cooler & jug have some mild surface scratches & minor dimples to the metal but no major problems such as cracks or damage to the plastic. Drain plugs seal & do not leak water. The bottom of the cardboard box is a little rough. Overall this is a very clean set with little usage wear. Pictures can be enlarged and will show the condition well.
