Rare coleman picnic cooler upright refrigerator style 1960s aluminum 23×13 rare. This Coleman picnic cooler is really cool. Ive never seen another like it. Cooler is set up as an upright refrigerator instead of the typical sideways cooler. Body is aluminum and has the handles placed high up almost to the top, so it can be transported upright. I assume it worked by putting a solid piece of ice on top so the cold air flowed down. Locking top doubles as a bottle opener. Has red Coleman logo on door. Lower right hand corner of door has a nice dent and shows but the door does function fine and the cooler opens and closes fine as well as lock in place. Measures 23 high, 16 deep & 13.5wide. Vintage Complete 1970s Aluminum Coleman Cooler Upright Ice Chest/ Ice Box. Very High Quality Cooler, Made in the good ol USA in the early 1970s. Great for Camping or any Outdoor activity really. It Is in great vintage condition, with no dents, dings, big scratches or any major flaws to speak of really on the exterior. Inside of it all the trays, shelves, ice box etc are included and have no cracks or chips and still sturdy and not dry rotted, also none are missing. Spout for ice box still works. Inside is extremely clean with no stains or damage. Does have some slight surface rust in places on exterior which can be expected with the age of the item, it is 50+ years old. Nothing major, but please see photos and judge for yourself the condition. I Do try my best though to point out anything at all that I see. I do not try to trick anyone. VINTAGE ALUMINUM COLEMAN UPRIGHT FRIDGE / COOLER / WATER DISPENSER. It is from the Diamond collection. This is one of the earliest Coleman coolers. This cooler is all original. Has some scratches And Chips on the door surface but still a really nice looking piece. The Interior Components Have Slightly Yellowed. There’s a white paint stain on the top of the cooler. Chrome handles have a bottle opener inside the handles. It has all the original trays including the 6 egg holder. The chrome latches and handles have some light rust pitting. This vintage Coleman cooler/ice chest comes complete with the removable ice box inside. It is in good shape with some minor cosmetic blemishes. It has a bit of rust, scuffs and scrapes from use and storage. It would be great to add to any collection or weave into your decor as a conversation piece to reminice about. The internal ice box lid has a small strip missing on one corner but still sits tight on the box. When sitting the box on its side (longways) it has a very slight rock, but most would keep it in the upright position which sits perfectly. Has some small blemishes consistent with light use. Comes with an ice tub and Four shelves. There are no cracks in any of the plastic trays or tub. The perfect item for anyone who has a camp or vintage camper! Measures 26″ x 16″ x 16. Many older coolers have cracks on inside of lid this one is minty as is the entire inside. A really neat True Vintage March 1975 Coleman 3-Way Upright Steel Cooler 68 Quart RV Fridge Made in Wichita Kansas USA!!! An incredible design for long term camping cooler has metal handles on each end, and opens to reveal a mini fridge with shelves and in large container on the bottom to hold ice/water and keep all of the contents cool All original trays are in like new condition. Sides and door all metal, back is plastic covered foam. This cooler is in excellent condition and super clean No stains, odors, or cracks. The only Condition issues that I can see is a little bit of rust on the bottom leg and a very slight dent – both are pictured. Dimensions without handles about 23 3/4 inches x 15 7/8 inches wide, 15 3/4 inches deep. Handles extend about an inch and a quarter on each end. The box shows some wear but very much intact.
