I very nice overall condition. This hard to find model was made for use. In airlines and was carried onto the plane. Made in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By Greetham Industries Ltd. The main body measures. 21.5″ long x 15″ tall x 9.5 deep. Adding to the height, the lid handle is 4 3/8″ long by 1.5″ tall. The long carrying handle is almost 24″ long by 9.25″ tall. This old cooler is a killer piece of advertising from the 1950’s… In the 1950’s the American dream expanded to include not just a house and automobile, but coolers and ice chest’s as well…. Insulated coolers displaying the brand names and logos of beverages became a must have accessory….. The piece was made in the U. A and manufactured by the Progress Refrigeration Company…. The Progress Refrigeration Company made promotional coolers for many of America’s largest soft drink brands, including Dr Pepper, 7Up and Coke…. Progress Refrigerator was a division of Louisville Tin and Stove Co. The outfit was in operation from the 1930’s through the 1960’s producing commercial refrigeration and coolers…… His old cooler has seen better days, however its fully intact, and this model cooler is a bit harder to come by…. Up for grabs, we have this awesome, vintage piece of Pepsi-Cola advertising… It was renamed Pepsi Cola in 1898 after the root of the word “dyspepsia” and the kola nuts used in the recipe, The original recipe also included sugar and vanilla…… Bradham sought to create a fountain drink that was appealing and would aid in digestion and boost energy…… In 1909, automobile race pioneer Barney Oldfield was the first celebrity to endorse Pepsi-Cola, describing it as A bully drink… Refreshing, invigorating, a fine bracer before a race…… The advertising theme “Delicious and Healthful” was then used over the next two decades…….. This old cooler is a killer piece of advertising from the 1950’s…. It measure’s 19″ by 10″ and it sits 18 high….. This piece has a lot going for it…. The advertising is stellar and it’s easy to display alone or among other Pepsi collectibles….
