This is in original condition as found. All I’ve done to it is wiped it down. It measures approximately 19″ tall x 18″ wide x 12 deep. There is no handle on the drain and it looks a little rusted so I’m not sure if the drain will open. There is 2-3 long dent on the lid. See pictures for condition. Vintage Coca-Cola Metal Cooler 1950’s TempRite Mfg. Co. Arkansas City, Kansas

This is an extremely collectible and vintage Coca-Cola Metal Cooler from the 1950’s manufactured by TempRite Manufacturing Co. The Coca-Cola emblem in flowing lettering is embossed on each side of the cooler. Overall it is in very nice condition. These include a dent above the Coca-Cola emblem on one side, a dent on the lid by the handle, and a small dent on one of the silver metal corner pieces. These can be easily taken out by someone who works with metal if that is preferred. I always liked the way it looked so displayed it as is. These coolers are getting harder and harder to find, especially in the good condition this one is in.. The inside cooler measures 15.25″ x 10.25″ x 14.50 deep. The outside measurements are approximately 17″ x 12″ x 17. The cooler weighs approximately 22 pounds. Needless to say it is very heavy duty. Colors are still good, and it comes with the original sandwich tray. The cooler also has a bottle opener on the side as well as the drain plug. On the front of the cooler there is a metal tag bearing the serial number D 219. I have tried to research the significance of the serial number and it’s origin but to no avail. I have been told by other Coca-Cola memorabilia collectors that the coolers made by the TempRite Mfg. Are preferable since this company did not manufacture the Coca-Cola coolers for an extended period. If you have questions or want additional pictures please let me know. This listing is for one vintage Coca-Cola metal cooler. This Coca-Cola cooler is the original item, not a reproduction, from the 1950’s. The cooler was manufactured by TempRite Mfg. Co in Arkansas City, Kansas. The cooler exterior measurements are 11 1/2″ wide x 9″ deep and 12 tall to the top of the cooler. 14 total height including the handles. The cooler interior measurements are about 9 7/8″ x 10 3/8″ x 7 1/2. The cooler weighs 8.6 lbs. The large metal handle swivels forward/backward and securely holds the lid in place when placed atop the lid handle. One end of the cooler has a built in bottle opener. This version of the cooler does not include a drain cock. The interior is aluminum and appears to hold its water without leaking. The exterior shows signs of age with some faded and chipped paints, and a few small rust spots. Please see the photo’s for the condition. From out of Arkansas City, Kansas. Condition is “Used” and does have scratches, some minor dents and rusting (see photos). It measures approximately 12 1/2″ x 13 3/4″ x 9 at the widest points including the handle and weighs about 7 pounds and 5 ounces. The inside of the cooler’s dimensions are about 9 7/8″ x 10 3/8″ x 7 1/2. On one side of the cooler right below where the handle attatches is a built in bottle opener. 18″ L x 12.5″ W x 21 H. Vintage TempRite Mfg Drink Coke Coca-Cola Red Metal Cooler/Ice Chest w/ Tray. Used, clean, does have some minor dirt marks and I did not want to overly clean the cooler. Has some minor rust, dings and scratches all over. White paint mark on front. Rust on bottom exterior edge and m inor rust in interior. Oiled the handle and opens easily! See pics for more description. Though package carriers can sometimes come up with surprising ways to damage a package no matter how meticulously I pack it! A true gem of the past and a great display piece. No rust, no chips, a few light scratches. There is a piece of the side metal missing please see pictures as they are part of the description.
