Vintage unbranded cooler/ ice chest. In fair overall condition. A lot of wear from use, and age. Lid is splitting at the edge. See all photos for condition. This cooler has no brand or markings of any kind. Based on similar models, this is believed to be pre 1950’s. No drain hole. Simple handle side closing/ locking mechanism. Chest is made of aluminum. Handle and locking pieces on sides are made of metal. Fairly lightweight (about 5lbs). Approx dimensions (inches): L 15.5 x W 8.75 x H 11.5 (13.75 bottom to handle).

This vintage 1950s Pepsi Cola blue metal cooler chest includes an aluminum sandwich tray- and wow does it keep things cold! The handle secures the lid, and as it swings down it reveals an opener built into the right side. The front features a screw-off drain, one of the first coolers to employ this feature. Built by Progress Refrigerator Co. This Pepsi cooler features the iconic “Drink Pepsi Cola” logo on both sides of this classic Pepsi blue ice chest. It measures 18″ wide x 16.5″ tall and 13″ long, with the convenient lift-out sandwich tray being 16″ x 10.5. The body is painted steel with an aluminum interior. This treasure does show age-appropriate wear such as dings, scratches, surface rust, a few dents, and patina that adds character. : 18? Tall × 16? Long × 13? Deep (based on similar models).
