Offered is a vintage Coca-Cola airline-style cooler featuring the classic Drink Coca-Cola in Bottles advertising along with PIEDMONT AIRLINES lettering. This is a fantastic piece of mid-century Coca-Cola and airline memorabilia. The cooler has a white textured exterior, metal insulated interior, lid, carrying handle, locking hardware and a vintage Coca-Cola bottle opener mounted on the side. The front marking indicates a capacity of 11 bottles. Piedmont Airlines was a historic U. Airline that operated from 1948 until its merger with USAir in 1989, making the Piedmont Airlines advertising particularly interesting to aviation and airline memorabilia collectors. The cooler has a great original vintage appearance with considerable age-related wear, including scratches, scuffs, staining, discoloration, faded/worn Coca-Cola graphics, oxidation/patina to the metal hardware, and areas of cracking, tearing and wear to the textured exterior covering, especially around the lid and corners.
