Vintage Dr Pepper Metal Cooler/Ice Chest, Smaller Size, Restoration Project
Good enough condition it would make a great restoration project or display it just as it is. I think this is a smaller size, measurements (not including the handles) are about 12 inches tall by 12 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches deep. The photos show all four sides, the inside and bottom. On both sides it says DRINK DR. PEPPER GOOD FOR LIFE. A few minor dents on the sides, surface rust in places. Inside is getting rusty at the bottom. When you look at the bottom there is quite a bit of rust and the lips around the edges are bent. I don’t know if the rust is enough that this will leak. I think this is in pretty decent condition for the age. The photos are the best way for you to judge the condition for yourself. THIS IS THE VINTAGE METAL CHEST WITH THE 2 OPENERS UNDER THE METAL HANDLES. I SEE A TINY BIT OF SURFACE RUST AT THE HANDLES BUT NOTHING SERIOUS. THIS COOLER IS VERY CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT. IT COMES WITH THE PLASTIC SANDWICH TRAY. THE WATER SPOUT LOOKS GOOD AS DOES THE WHITE BOTTOM. THERE ARE A FEW CHIPS OF PAINT (PICTURED) MISSING.
