This is a 1950s red metal picnic cooler made by Progress Refrigerator Co. Beautiful embossed logos on both sides. This measures 18″ long by 13-1/2″ wide by 16 tall. This includes the removable sandwich tray; missing on many coolers. Handles on either side have yellow rubber grips. Condition: Minimal surface rusting on cover and bottom as well as surface scratches. Nothing serious and no rust eating through. I actually prefer collecting items that were used for their intended purpose. Opinion, “character flaws” just add to the value and history of this cooler. This weighs 20 pounds.
