Excellent Frostie Root Beer reproduction metal cooler made by Retro Products Limited Partnership of Dinuba, California. These were built as high-quality reproductions of the classic 1940s-1950s style six-pack picnic coolers, with an all-metal body, chrome-plated trim and carrying hardware, insulated interior, and embossed Frostie advertising. This example is from a limited production run of only 500 coolers. Retro Products is known for making these in a number of classic soda brands, and the construction is substantially better than the lightweight decorative coolers commonly made today. Comparable Retro Products coolers were made with steel, aluminum and insulation and a durable powder-coated finish. Measures approximately 15″ tall x 12.5″ wide x 9 deep. The cooler appears to be brand new and unused. It still has the protective plastic around the inner seal/gasket. Please see photos for exact condition.
