VINTAGE 1950s Knapp MONARCH THERM-A-CHEST METAL & CHROME HANDLE PICNIC COOLER. Shows some wear and tear consistent with age. The original brand label has long since worn off. Made in USA by Knapp Monarch company. Metal in good condition with few dings. Could use a good scrub. See photos for additional details and condition. The item in the photos are exact item you will receive (I do not use stock photos, all the items in the photos are exactly what you will receive). Unless otherwise stated, please assume that all items are pre-owned and likely showing minor to moderate signs of wear. Please refer to photos for all (if any) damages, staining, tears, repairs, etc. We try to use recycled boxes & packing paper as much as possible in order to limit waste to the environment. Comes with 10 black rim(white rims available upon request), air tires, that are held on by simple pound on axle caps. Also included is a black strap that when tightened holds the axle assembly tight to the cooler so when you go to lift it into a vehicle, it stays with the cooler. The strap also aids in keeping the wheel kit tight and secured to cooler when going over rough terrain. Without it, a wheel kit can easily and will come loose and fall off a cooler. When all installed, as shown, the cooler will remain level with ground so a person can still use it for a seat and is just more practical and eye appealing in my opinion. Also installed is a plastic bushing on each upright assembly to keep the metal frame from rubbing on the cooler. Each assembly is completely primed and painted. This kit makes a full 50 yeti much easier to move from point A to point B. No more asking a friend to grab the other side or your kids/spouse. A back saver in my opinion! Also included on every kit is a name plate with bottle openers that is welded to the axle assembly as shown in last picture. When you add it all up, there isn’t any other cooler wheel setup that has the extras that mine have and the guarantee. Along with a fair price. Not sure where people are getting this kind of info from in my description. ALSO INCLUDED IS WHAT I CALL “THE HANDLE”. THIS IS AN ACCESSORY TO BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE WHEEL KITS THAT I SELL FOR yeti 45 50 & 65 COOLERS. THIS DOES JUST EXACTLY WHAT ITS NAME SUGGESTS, GIVES YOU A HANDLE ALONG WITH SPACE AND ADDED LEVERAGE TO MOVE YOUR COOLER FROM POINT A TO POINT B. MEASURES FROM FRONT OF COOLER TO END OF HANDLE AT 15 WHICH GIVES YOU DOUBLE THE LENGTH THAT THE CURRENT OEM STRAP ON COOLER DOES. “THE HANDLE” INSTALLS IN SECONDS INTO THE FRONT TIE DOWN SLOT IN THE COOLER FROM THE BOTTOM. HAS A SIMPLE CLEAR COAT PAINT APPLIED TO IT FOR RUST PROTECTION.
