Antique Vintage Ideal Double Wash Tub with Lid – Previous owner made this to be a Cooler Chest by adding hinges to the top lid, inside tubs latex paint is peeling – outside is also peeling off. Great outdoor rolling cooler! – ships dismantled with base legs removed. Measures 34 x 20 3/4 w x 32 H. Up for consideration is a Nice Vintage IDEAL Double Basin Wash Tub w/ Lid Rustic Country Barn Cooler Chest. In as found used condition. Has been painted a beige-brown with dark blue lid, lid shows scratches and scrapes. Inside has NOT been painted and shows discoloration and some rust, (nothing that goes all the way thru). Legs have been shortened (cut off and some type of rubber bumpers on 2 of them, looks like the other 2 fell off). 34″ wide x 25″ tall x 22 in depth. Both long ends are Marked: IDEAL. Would make a great, Planter, or Cooler Chest! Or just a Great Display Piece! Bottom has casters that are rusted and will need replaced. Metal has some surface wear for a nice vintage patina. Piece dates to the 50s/60s. Stand measures 32″ tall x 34″ long x 21 deep.
