Good enough condition it would make a great restoration project or display it just as it is. I think this is a smaller size, measurements (not including the handles) are about 12 inches tall by 12 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches deep. The photos show all four sides, the inside and bottom. On both sides it says DRINK DR. PEPPER GOOD FOR LIFE. A few minor dents on the sides, surface rust in places. Inside is getting rusty at the bottom. When you look at the bottom there is quite a bit of rust and the lips around the edges are bent. I don’t know if the rust is enough that this will leak. I think this is in pretty decent condition for the age. The photos are the best way for you to judge the condition for yourself. You are looking at a vintage 1940’s metal can cooler. It is in good shape with just the occasional rust and blemishes expected of something of this age. It does have a few dents and dings, but I tried to take lots of pictures so you can see. This cooler, also comes with the original metal sandwich tray, to keep sandwiches from spoiling. Vintage 1923-40 Dr Pepper Good For Life Metal Cooler Progress Refrig Co Pat Pend

Very Rare and Hard to Find! Vintage green & white metal Dr Pepper ice chest cooler with the slogan ” Good for Life “. This slogan was used as an advertising logo from 1923 to 1950, so this cooler is either from the mid-twenties, the thirties or the forties. Dr Pepper quit using the slogan’Good for Life’ in 1950. This cooler was made by the Progress Refrigerator Co. Of Louisville Kentucky and was a Pat Pending model. Measures approximately 18 inches long, 12 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches wide from front to back. Cooler is missing one of the bales (handle) on the side and it has some scratches, dings & small dents consistent with age & use. Zoom in on the photos for more details. Cooler would display great in a Man Cave, on top of a VW or other vintage automobile in the car shows and/or look would look great in any vintage, retro décor! Would also be adorable to add to any Glamping Camping scene! Father’s Day is June 19th! Here is a vintage Dr Pepper metal cooler with the 1950’s slant logo. The color is Dr Pepper green with “Drink Dr Pepper” in raised white lettering on both sides.
