Rare 1940/50’s Pepsi Metal Ice Chest/Cooler! Progressive Co! Must See

Rare 1940/50’s Pepsi Metal Ice Chest/Cooler! You are purchasing this rare. Made by the infamous Progressive Corporation. This Pepsi cooler is much rarer than the Coca-Cola version. From my research I believe this one dates from post war late 40s – early 50s. Measures aprox 18 x 13 x 22 inches. Weighs aprox 26 pounds. This cooler displays well considering its age and with lid, and it even still has the drain cap! There are marks and surface rust as pictured on body and lid and handle. It is missing the tray and shows some wear from use, but is. Or just to display and enjoy as is. Please see my pictures for condition! I have priced this one to sell quickly! Most of these coolers are badly rusted on the bottom/inside. Here you have a piece that has a nice patina with a clean inside that will look great on display in your home. This is a large box. This is a vintage Gray Cooler with Red Pepsi Cola Script on both side. It says Progress Refrigerator Co. Louisville KY on the side. It has a pull out tray, the tray and inside are in great condition. It is a full size cooler measuring 14″ Wide, 18″ long and 16 1/2 tall. It is in good condition for how old it is, no dents, has a little discoloring in a small area on one side, the metal is a darker gray. We are down sizing our large Pepsi collection. This dispenser is in Good condition. The dispenser looks to be in all original condition. I do not see any rusting or corrosion anywhere in the metal of the dispenser. The dispenser does show signs of use with surface scratches and scuffs (please see pictures). The dispense has its original syrup holder mounted on the inside of the dispenser. The dispenser also has its lid. The dispenser has a clamp on bottom to clamp on a shelf or table. The dispenser was made by the Selmix company. The dispenser measures approx. 16 wide by 11 tall by 8 1/2 deep. I took a lot of pictures to sho w you what you are receiving. Please look at the pictures as to the condition of the item. Vintage Pepsi Cola Cooler Picnic 1950s Blue Cronstroms Embossed Metal Sign HTF

Vintage Pepsi Cola Cooler 1950s. The cooler (without measuring the handle) is 19″ wide x 12 1/4″ high x 10 deep. Including the handle: 20 1/2″ wide x 11″ deep (with handle down) x 16 high (with handle raised). This is a wonderful and hard to find Pepsi rectangular cooler from the 1950s manufactured by Cronstroms Mfg. It’s in great shape for it’s age. There are some minor surface scratches on the outside. And a small dent in the front center panel (see pic) which actually looks worse in the closeup photo than in person. I’ve owned the cooler for about 8 years and have used it only for display. Up for grabs, we have this awesome, vintage piece of Pepsi-Cola advertising… It was renamed Pepsi Cola in 1898 after the root of the word “dyspepsia” and the kola nuts used in the recipe, The original recipe also included sugar and vanilla…… Bradham sought to create a fountain drink that was appealing and would aid in digestion and boost energy…… In 1909, automobile race pioneer Barney Oldfield was the first celebrity to endorse Pepsi-Cola, describing it as A bully drink… Refreshing, invigorating, a fine bracer before a race…… The advertising theme “Delicious and Healthful” was then used over the next two decades…….. This old cooler is a killer piece of advertising from the 1950’s…. It measure’s 19″ by 10″ and it sits 18 high….. This piece has a lot going for it….
