This amazing vintage Pepsi cooler is in very good shape for the age, but it is obviously not perfect! As you can see, there is a good amount of general wear and chips in the paint, along with some oxidation and light rust in the chrome handle. This particular unit STILL HAS ITS ORIGINAL TRAY! This is a big deal for most Pepsi collectors! This cooler could still be used today! It has no holes or issues that would render it unusable. This cooler measures 13.5 x 18 x 18.5 tall with the lid. This is an original vintage (mid 20th century) metal Cronstroms Schlitz beer cooler in excellent original condition. There is only minor light surface wear, visible in the photos, including a few tiny chips in the paint, light scuffs and scratches, and a couple tiny unnoticeable dings. The bottom surface has some worn spots and light surface rust, and there is a tiny pin hole in one of the feet. The plug is intact, the handle locks the lid securely in place, and the inside surface is clean. The entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. VINTAGE 1950’s Acton Metal “Drink COCA COLA” Picnic Cooler – All Original. This is an older RARER version of the Acton Coca Coca picnic cooler that does NOT include the words In Bottles. It does have a bottle opener on the side. Chest measures 17″ X 12″ X 12. It measures 14 1/2 to the top of the handle when closed. The handle does not fit snugly into the closing mechanism as you can see in the photos. This is a great, old, vintage piece in untouched condition. It’s in terrific shape but does have some dents that I have included photos of. Overall, paint is in very good to excellent condition. The item “RARE! Unrestored and in as found condition. Overall very good for its age and would make for an easier than most restoration. Has one bigger dent as shown and just small dings everywhere else. No major rust on outer skin. Inner tray has some rust showing. Having dealt with a lot of these vintage coolers this is one of the better ones. This old cooler is a killer piece of advertising from the 1950’s….. After the realization that soda would sell better if it was chilled, Coca Cola retailers wanted to figure out a way to keep them cold, even before the advent of electric coolers….. At first, it was done by using wooden barrel halves, which were filled with ice…. These barrels would have a wooden lid over them and on the sides, would have the Coca Cola logo stenciled on them, just as this cooler does….. This piece is in beautiful shape, despite having some chips and light rust, its very solid and it even has the original tray….. It measures 18 1/2″ by 13″ and it stands 18 tall…..
