This is a beautiful Coleman vintage cooler. It is from the Diamond collection. This is one of the earliest Coleman coolers ever made, its a patent pending model. This cooler is all original, all the way down to the screws. It has a few dents (one to the right side top) and dings to the outer body and has some scratches on the surface but still a really nice looking piece. Both the chrome handles have a bottle opener custom built inside the handles plate. It has a secure latch and once inside it has all the original trays including the 6 egg holder. The main compartment lid that goes on top of the main box did have a crack and has been glued (see picture #8) and is still intact. It also has the original rack still inside and there are no breaks or cracks to the interior. The chrome latches and handles has some light rust pitting but still this is very solid for one of the earliest original Coleman coolers ever built. Late 50’s or early 60’s I believe.
