This is a very cool original JC Higgins Camping Cooler with the original internal container for either ice or dry storage. I’ve never found one with the galvanized metal container still intact or included. The brown paint is obviously worn, but it’s patina is only proof of its age and durability. The surface rust on the bottom is also minimal!! This is a smaller sized cooler-east for carrying and takes up little space in a vintage car or camper!
