HERE IS A WONDERFUL ANTIQUE OLD SCHOOL HOUSE METAL WATER COOLER CROCK STAND!! THE METAL STAND IS ABOUT 28 ” TALL , THE TOP RING IS 12″ ACROSS IN DIA TO THE OUTSIDE EDGE AND THE INSIDE DIA. OF THE TOP RING IS 11 1/2. THE STAND IS VERY SOLID AND THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE FEET IS 12. LOOKS TO STILL HAVE THE OLD ORIGINAL WHITE PAINT WITH WEAR AND PAINT CRACKING. THE SCREWS ON THE TOP RING DO GO INWARD AND THAT IS THE WAY IT WAS MADE. (SEE LAST 2 PHOTOS). THERE IS NO SPLITS IN THE METAL OR NO CRACKING TO THE METAL. I BELIEVE THIS WAS MADE TO FIT A 5 GALLON CROCK!! (ALTHOUGH CROCKS CAN BE ODD SHAPE SOMETIMES). PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS. Rare Antique Black Metal Stoneware Water Cooler Crock Plant Stand

This is a hard to find original early 20th century antique metal stand for a stoneware water cooler (possibly from a school house). It has a coating of old black paint, but there is some surface rust showing through and some rust holes near the bottom of two of the feet. There is also a dent on the bottom edge of the small shelf underneath. There are no cracks or repairs anywhere and the stand still feels solid and sturdy overall but could use some restoration because of the holes. The total height of the stand is 27 3/4″, it measures 14″ square at the feet, and the diameter inside the top (the part that holds the crock) is 12 3/4. It’s about the right size for a 5 gallon water cooler, but could be used for a variety of purposes.
